COCONUT WAX

All-Natural Coconut Blend is a blend of all-natural organic coconut wax and other natural quality ingredients. Soft creamy and opaque appearance. It has excellent color retention, jar adhesion, hot and cold scent throw, and is very clean burning. No additives are required. It is also blended to eliminate frosting of colored candles, and is a one pour blend. It has a smooth surface and burns cooler so it burns longer. As with all natural products, blends can vary slightly from batch to batch.

How to Use:

• Melt Point: 100°F (38°C)
• Flash Point: >450°F (232 °C)
• Heating: 190°F (88 °C)
• Add Fragrance at: 180°F (80-82 °C)
• Suggested Pouring Temp: 150-160°F (66 - 71 °C)

Heat to 88 °C, remove from heat source, add fragrance oil and dye, blend and stir while cooling, and then pour at 66 - 71 °C for best results.

For smoother top surfaces, it is recommended to heat lamp the surface after candle has set up. All our natural blends were formulated to pour hot with a temperature range from 66 - 71 °C for slower cooling rate which will result in consistently smoother looking candles and minimize any blooming. Advisable fragrance load is 6-10%, but higher fragrance loads should be tested per fragrance.
